What Got You There Won't Keep You There

The performance model that creates success is not the one that sustains it. High performers need a new performance playbook.

Dr. Kim Hollingdale helps high-performing leaders and teams unlock the performance they’re currently leaving on the table and build a smarter, more sustainable way to perform.

Drawing on her work inside elite sport, she translates the principles that drive performance under pressure into practical strategies for corporate environments - where expectations are high, decisions matter, and performance needs to sustain.

Her perspective is grounded in both lived experience and elite performance environments.

In her first career as a corporate marketer, she was operating at a high level - but in a way that wasn’t sustainable. Kim watched her performance degrade and was seemingly powerless to control it. That experience led her to study performance more deeply, retrain in the field of psychology and performance, and ultimately into a decade of working inside elite sport - the ultimate arena for testing what works and what doesn’t, because its where performance is visible, measured, and constantly tested.

“I’ve lived the high-performer to burnout pipeline and spent a decade decoding the performance myths that are crippling long term success.”

Kim’s work focuses on a critical inflection point: when the approach that once created success begins to quietly limit how well someone can continue to perform. Not because it stops working completely —but because it starts to eat away at high performer capabilities, leaving meaningful results on the table.

Kim helps leaders recognize that moment - and evolve how they perform - so they can think more clearly, make better decisions under pressure, and continue to improve, rather than degrade, as demands increase.

In her keynote, The Long Game: How Elite Performers Reach the Top - and Stay There, Kim introduces The Performance Trap Method - a practical framework that identifies when current ways of working begin to limit performance, and the specific shifts required to unlock what’s next.

“I’ve created and tested performance strategy in one of the most competitive environments on earth - elite sport - where pressure is relentless, results are visible, and ineffective ways of working get exposed fast.”
